Oppo has emerged as one of thecompanies that always keeps the stake up when it comes to flagship smartphones. Recently it has just received the PhoneArena Best Innovation Award of 2014 and company’s flagship devices Find 7 and Find 7a along with the new rapid charging technique VOOC (Voltage Open Loop Multi-Step Constant-Current Charging) was greatly appreciated at the event.
Oppo claims that VOOC Rapid Charging technology charges Find 7 and 7a up to 75% in just 30 minutes, additionally a 5 minute charge is sufficient to provide backup for 2 hours call.
The company further said that to protect the battery, VOOC charger provides lower current to complete the remaining battery uses a 7-pin USB charger with a maximum output of 4.5 Ampere.
Some says it’s the processors that define focal point of overall specs of a smartphone but over the course of last year, we have seen that smartphone companies are embarking upon amplifying batteries and they both are being equally examined.
Most smartphones and tablets have an Ampere rating of 1 or 2 Amps for chargers, which means that 2 Amps is the maximum current the device will draw. The Oppo Find 7 and Find 7A on the other hand, are able to receive much higher current, and on the VOOC charger itself, you’ll see that it can output 4.5 Amps, more than double the mainstream ampere average, which provides huge boost to the battery.
The company also offers VOOC powerbank with the OPPO Find 7. The powerbank’s capacity is 6000mAh, almost three times the average capacity of most smartphones around. The battery of R5 is also equipped with VOOC Rapid Charge feature, the same feature that has been introduced in N3.
Oppo has experimented the innovation also in flagships by introducing the first ever rotatory camera through which users can enjoy selfies with the primary camera using rotatory cylinder.
Many of us usually make a mistake by not properly plug in the phone for charging before sleeping. And upon waking up, the horrible remaining 5% battery gives us the shock patterns. Those who have got Find 7 and 7a now won’t have to be worry for this as they can put the phone to charge and go about daily routine before leaving the house. Even some of the Android related blogs have confirmed the genuineness of the Oppo rapid battery charging claim.
