Everyone who has played Grand Theft Auto 5 on any of the available consoles, including the new PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, have more than likely already completed the story mode by now. It does take awhile, but most people have had the title in their disc tray for quite some time. Anyone who activates a cheat code within their game, however, will lose the ability to obtain any achievements or trophies. These codes also cannot be used within the in-game phone, so writing them down is the best option you have.

Players can save their game when activating GTA 5 Cheats, so that is a good thing. Entering the same code twice will sometimes disable the cheat, but not always. Lastly, if you start an in-game mission with a cheat code enabled, that code will be disabled. Likewise, reloading a save or rebooting your game will reset all cheats and return the game to completely normal.
