Recently, I’ve had something on my mind. In fact, I’d bet you've had a similar thing on your mind. I was thinking, “how would one go about making a wooden bicycle?” But then I stopped thinking about bicycles and began thinking about sex instead. Let’s not be embarrassed, there’s nothing wrong with doing a Google Search for “how to improve my dismal sex life.” We’ve all been there. So now, to help out, I'm bringing you my top five apps for spicing things up in the bedroom.

iKamasutra Lite
The iKamsutra app is a digital version of the Hindu love guide. It displays a variety of sex positions to try out with easy to follow instructions and images. It also comes with some useful extras for tracking your progress, showing you what positions you have tried (or are yet to try), your favorites, and a handy filter to list them by complexity or strength required. It also has a list of movies and the sex positions found in them. It’s very comprehensive, and though the paid app includes more positions, the free version still contains all of the basic functionality, if you know what I mean.
It’s a really well put together app, I’m surprised at how good the functionality is and how consistent the tone and presentation are. When I started looking at these apps I thought that because they were “sex” related they would be poorly designed. So far, this is not the case. I am recommending this highly, I think it’s a great product, even the free version. It does, however, invite you to share your progress on Facebook and Twitter, so please don’t do this without your partner’s consent!
Sex Dices
This is a very simple app to use. Enter your name and your partner’s name, then roll the dice and see what comes out. These dice games have been around for ages and they offer simple thrills. Some of the situations that arise aren’t exactly sexy (biting someone’s hand on the floor for five seconds ain’t sexy at all, sorry), and I had more fun trying to find un-sexy suggestions than erotic ones. It’s free and honestly I can’t remember laughing so much at an app ever, intentionally or not, so I’m totally recommending it. I think you and your partner will actually love it.
Avocado
Avocado is a private messaging service for couples. It provides a more personal experience for you and your partner compared to that offered by other messaging apps, like WhatsApp, and it's password protected too. It has some lovely features, like the ability to send hugs or kisses by holding the phone to your chest or kissing the on-screen picture of your significant other. You can also share lists and doodles with them. It's all very cute, and if nothing else I think this app can certainly help make you feel more connected to your loved ones. It's sweet, go and try it.
Couple Sex Game
Grammar certainly isn’t the strong point of this developer, but maybe turning me on is! Couple Sex Game is like a dice game, except you have to make up the rules yourself. You enter the criteria before beginning the game, then when you begin, it randomly assigns actions for you and your partner to do. It’s great that you can tailor the rules to the things you want to experience with your partner, but the downside is that, if you aren’t comfortable with this, it can be difficult to play.
Tinder
Tinder can improve your sex life in one very simple way, it can help you meet members of the opposite sex. Tinder is the dating app that has proven immensely popular (and seemingly long-lasting), even if the mechanics of it are shallow. It uses your GPS location and Facebook account to discover other Tinder users in your area. A picture of them will display on your phone, swipe right if you like what you see, or swipe left if you don't. The whole process is completely anonymous until two people match, so nobody will know who has "approved" them and who hasn't. I can't guarantee it will deliver an improvement to your sex life, but hopefully you will at least meet some new people.
If there is one thing I’ve learned from my experience with love-related apps for Android, it’s that the market is flooded with terrible sex quizzes, awful truth or dare games, and a plethora of under developed apps. The moment people start coming up with some useful and functional sex-related apps they are going to make some big bucks. I'm sure of it.
